Bacardi & Sea Sessions
Bacardi Gets Ready to Mix It Up at Sea Sessions Surf Music Festival this weekend
Come Together and Make Waves With The Freshest Bacardi Cocktails
BACARDI is pleased to announce their involvement with Sea Sessions this weekend. The BACARDI Airstream will roll into Bundoran, Co Donegal just in time for the opening of Europe’s best surf, skate and music festival on Friday.
A firm favourite at Ireland’s best music festivals, BACARDI inspires the three main ingredients that help ignite the ultimate festival experience – togetherness, freedom and a passion for life.
The BACARDI Airstream bar will be the best place to soak up exclusive party atmosphere while being the ultimate place to get together with friends. BACARDI’s own mixologists will be on hand creating classic cocktails for you and your friends such as Ireland’s festival favourite – the BACARDI Mojito and the Daiquiri.
This year the Sea Sessions line-up includes an eclectic mix of bands and DJ’s such as The Villagers, Japanese Popstars, Bell X1, GO Team, Ham Sandwich, Roy Seven and Ziggy Marley as well as a stellar list of DJ’s who will be performing at the new “Beat Shack” Dance Tent. You never know what acts you may meet at the BACARDI Airstream bar enjoying a cocktail.
Commenting on this weekend’s festival BACARDI’s Tiernan O’Morain said, “We are delighted to bring the taste of BACARDI to Sea Sessions Surf Music Festival this weekend – we will simply go back to basics with the ultimate party mix: good friends, great music and festival favourite BACARDI cocktails.”
BACARDI rum has a long standing history as a patron of proper music. In the early 1920’s in Cuba, the BACARDI family legacy in music was cemented by Facundo BACARDI – grandson and namesake of the Company founder – who would share the BACARDI family’s passion for music, creating a festive music environment by throwing open the doors of the family home to parties featuring El Trio Matamoros – which became the hottest act in Cuba.
Remember to always enjoy Bacardi responsibly

Sea Sessions is delighted to host the Quiksilver Expressions in 2011 which has been upgraded to an ASP Speciality Event. The ASP who run the world tour of surfing has sanctioned only a few Speciality Events in Europe and this will be the first ever to hit the UK or Ireland. Head of ASP Europe Gregorie Puget stated it is “ Great to see Quiksilver get into the thing, great to see Irish surfers enter as it will be a great opportunity for ASP Europe to highlight theses kids' performance, far from the usual South West Coast of France and Basque Country” . The ASP are sending over their top water photographers to capture the action. Local Irish surfers will be given the chance to compete against top European Surfers in the expression session for bragging rights, €5000 in cash, festival hospitality among many other prizes. Surfers already confirmed are former World number 3 Aussie Mick Campbell, Welsh legend Carwyn Williams, English ripper Oli Adams and Irelands top free surfer Cain Killcullan. Here are the technical requirements…
1. Shoot your video footage in the highest quality allowed by your video camera.
2. Shoot, edit and save your footage using 'Progressive Scan', rather than 'Interlaced' video i.e; 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080p and not 480i, 576i, 1080i.

Ultimately, we will accept film entries in any and all video formats. However, ensuring you maintain as much of the original video quality of your footage as possible, can only mean you will have a better chance in the competition
